4 killed in Kogi auto crash

Four persons died yesterday while 11 others sustained injuries in an auto crash at Felele along the Lokoja- Abuja highway.
Witnesses said the accident occurred around 12 noon, when a Toyota Hiace bus with registration number XA 880 RRU, had a burst tyre and somersaulted.
Confirming the accident, Kogi State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Muhammed Garba, blamed it on over speeding and burst tyre.
Garba added that the injured persons were taken to the Federal Medical Centre, while the corpses were deposited at the FMC and Specialist Hospital morgue.
