UNILAG: 30 SANs to battle FG over name change

Thirty Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) including Chief Wole Olanipekun, have been hired to battle the Federal Government over the change of the name of the University of Lagos. At a briefing in Lagos, president UNILAG alumni association, Prof. Olaide Abass, said “I want to assure all and sundry that UNILAG will always be UNILAG, irrespective of efforts being made to repeal the act establishing the institution at the National Assembly. Already, we have hired 30 Senior Advocate of Nigeria, who have offered to pursue the issue free of charge. The legal team is being led by Chief Wole Olanipekun”.
