The Jigawa State House of Assembly yesterday passed a budget of N115.4 billion into law for the 2013 fiscal year. Chairman of the appropriation committee, Alhaji Babangida Mohammed, who presented the report, said his committee invited executives of agencies for discussion and possible adjustments before final draft of the report was written. The member representing Gagarawa constituency, Alhaji Nasiru Muhammad, moved for the adoption of the report, which was seconded by the member representing Miga constituency, Adamu Sarki, before passage.
