Mark: Health workers’ killing sacrilegious

Senate President David Mark has condemned the Friday’s killing of 10 health workers in Kano State, describing it as sacrilegious and barbaric. Mark, in a statement yesterday by his media aide, Paul Mumeh, said: “This is barbaric. This is a sacrilege. It is unimaginable that those who were offering services to save lives were themselves murdered in cold blood. Something has gone wrong. This is inhuman.” According to the Senate president, “the unprovoked attacks and unwarranted killings of the polio vaccinators cannot be swept under the carpet. All right thinking persons in the society must rise up to the challenge.”
