NAFDAC warns Kogi residents against uncertified drugs

The National Agency for Food Drug and Administration Control (NAFDAC) in Kogi State has warned  residents to desist from taking drugs without its certification. NAFDAC coordinator in the state, Ali Mshalia, who gave the warning at the weekend in Lokoja, said taking uncertified drugs could be likened to suicide. He said NAFDAC safety clubs were established in schools to boost campaigns against fake drugs and to re-direct the thinking of youths towards healthy living.
