OKAPU, ZEMDA unity good for Kaduna- Bajoga

Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Ambassador Nuhu Bajoga, said yesterday that the coming together of Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) and their Northern counterpart, Zaria Emirate Development Association (ZEMDA) is a step towards boosting peace and development in the state.

Speaking at the annual general congress/National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of SOKAPU in Saminaka, Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Bajoga said rather than people dividing themselves on basis of religion and region, they should unite and move the state forward.

“We want this unity to continue between the Zaria emirate and the Southern Kaduna people. The Southern Kaduna people should emulate the virtues of Yakowa, who worked with everyone irrespective of religion and tribe”, he said.
