Kogi pledges support for police

The Kogi State government has pledged to support the Nigerian police in its efforts to protect lives and property.  Governor Idris Wada made the pledge when he received Cadet ASP’s Course 26, 2012 and Cadet Inspectors Course 41, 2012, from the Police Academy, Wudil Kano. He said the prevailing peace in the state was due to the efforts of the police and other security agencies. The governor,   who was represented by his deputy, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi, said towards ensuring that the state maximizes its abundant tourism and other potentials, conscious efforts are being made to ensure adequate security of lives and property.
