KTSG trains 15, 000 mechanics

Katsina State government has trained 15, 000 mechanics with a view to improving auto mechanic activities in the state, Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema has said.
Speaking at the commissioning of a Mechanic Village in Katsina yesterday, Governor Shema said the village was established to improve the activities of automobile technicians in the state.
The governor directed all the 34 local government areas of the state to also establish similar mechanic villages in their respective domains.
Represented by his Commissioner of Works, Housing and Transport, Mustapha Maikudi Kankia, the governor said the state government has given loans to 1000 members of the Nigerian Automobile Technician Association (NATA) in the state.
