Nigerian’s problem is lack of tolerance – Dahiru Bauchi

The major challenge facing Nigeria is lack of sympathy, patience and tolerance, Sheik Mohammed Mushri Dahiru Bauchi, has said.
Speaking in Kafanchan in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, after a match by Islamiyya  schools children and youths organisations in commemoration of the birth of Prophet Mohammed(SAW), he said lack of sympathy was behind the present happenings in Nigeria, and charged all Muslims to live according to the teachings of the prophet.
“The teachings of Islam require a good Muslim to be sympathetic, patient, tolerant, and be ready to help the needy. Those are attributes lacking in many Nigerians, and it is affecting our corporate existence. Every celebration is expected to remind Muslim faithful of the life and character of the prophet, and the need to copy them.  Youths must not relent in the quest for knowledge, because with knowledge our lives will be better,” he said.
Also speaking, secretary of Jamatu Nasril Islam (JNI) in the area, Alhaji Iliyasu Musa Kalla, urged the people to embrace one another and live in peace at all times.
Iliyasu, who commended the people for their conduct during the programme, prayed for peace and stability in the state.
