Agric ministry: We have active website
Category: News
The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has denied that it has no functional website as reported recently by Daily Trust.
Reacting to the report, Assistant Director of Press and Public Relations in the ministry, Mrs. Toyin Baker said the ministry has been running a very active and current website as opposed to the claim that it is absent online.
She said the ministry recently upgraded its website to fully capture the Agricultural Transformation Agenda (ATA) on a wider platform of “www.fmard.org.” “It is like nobody even wants to ask questions before they go on and starts writing all sorts of rubbish and this not fair. We have a whole unit (Information Technology, IT) dedicated to maintaining and managing the site so what have we done to Daily Trust?” she asked.
