Chairman of the Abia State Board of Internal Revenue, Mr. Udochukwu Ogbonna, said yesterday that the state government has inaugurated revenue courts in the three senatorial zones of the state to prosecute tax defaulters. Speaking with Daily Trust after the inauguration of the mobile court, Ogbonna said the measure became necessary following the increasing number of tax defaulters in the state. He however warned tax collectors in the state to exhaust all processes required before prosecuting any defaulter.
