Head Coach of the Nigeria's Beach Soccer National Team (Supersand Eagles), Audu Adamu Ejo has invited 16 players to the team’s camp ahead of the 2015 African Beach Soccer Championship taking place in Seychelles.
At the head of the list is veteran Isiaka Olawale and there is also Bartholomew Ibenegbu, as well as the duo of Abu Azeez and Victor Tale, who shone at the Power Horse Invitational Tournament in Durban, South Africa penultimate week, where the Supersand Eagles finished third.
Also invited are; Oladipo Olalekan, Danladi Isah, Emeka Ogbonna, Jamal Akewusola, Emmanuel Ohweferi and Igudia Godspower.
The team will finalize strategies for the championship at the Beach Soccer National Camp in Badagry.
Players and officials are expected in camp on Thursday, March 19 with the final list of 12 to be made known a day ahead of the trip to Seychelles on April 11.
This year’s African Beach Soccer Championship will take place April 14-19, with the two finalists to represent Africa at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Portugal, July 9-19.
