The FCT Minister, Bala Mohammed, has congratulated Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud celebrated yesterday in commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Mohammed, who made the admonition in his Maulud message, urged Muslims to use the occasion to reflect on the life of the Prophet and imbibe his teachings, which are primarily premised on selflessness, sacrifice, patience, modesty and spirituality.  He reiterated that Islam is a religion of peace and tasked Muslims to adhere to that cardinal principle of peace.
