NACOMYO urges FG to tackle insecurity, recruitment scam

The National Council of Muslim Youth Organizations (NACOMYO) has called on the Federal Government to tackle cases of kidnapping, fire outbreak and rising allegations of recruitment scam in government agencies in the country.
This was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of its national officers meeting in Zaria at the weekend.
The communiqué, co-signed by the group’s National President, Alhaji Kamal’deen Akintunde and National Secretary General, Malam Binyamin Yusuf, expressed worry over the ongoing job scam, bribery and corruption in government agencies as exposed by the Senate.
The group condoled the people of Kaduna State over the death of its former governor, while urging the new governor to consolidate on the relative peace being enjoyed by the state.
It described as anti-ethical the new policy in Lagos State allowing the burning to ashes of dead bodies.
It also emphasized the unity and indivisibility of Nigeria, saying Nigeria will be better-off if it is just, peaceful and united.
