I’ll give free hands to officers –Immigration boss

The acting Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Rilwan Bala Musa, has promised to upgrade the service to meet global best practices.
A statement signed by the spokesman of the service, DCI Ekpedeme King, stated that Musa made the comment at an inaugural parade held at NIS headquarters, Abuja.
Rilwan called on officers and men of the service to ensure due process in their operations, promising to restore the structures of the service by allowing his subordinates to function unhindered as provided by the service manual.
 He promised to collaborate with the Civil Defence, Fire Service and Prisons Services Board to ensure prompt and regular promotion of officers.
