Job scam: Senate threatens to arrest government officials

The Senate says it will arrest any government official who shuns its investigative hearing on the alleged recruitment racketeering in the ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) of government.
The chairman of the Senate Joint Committee on Federal Character and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Labour and Productivity, Senator Dahiru Awaisu Kuta (PDP, Niger East) said this on Tuesday at the inauguration of the committee.
Kuta assured that the commit-tee would do everything possible to bring to book, all those involved in the bribe-for-job scam.
