NSCDC: Disregard mass recruitment rumour

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has called on the general public to disregard websites asking them to pay money for recruitment into the corps.

In a statement, the Commandant of the corps in Kaduna Alhaji Haruna Idris described the recruitment rumours and the websites as false and attempts by some individuals to tarnish the image of the corps.

The statement signed by the NSCDC Public Relation Officer Oguntuase Michael said “For now, it is important to let the public know that NSCDC is not recruiting as widely speculated through a false website; www.fcsc.wapka.mobi and Skye bank account name; Sunday T. Olotu No. 1051649135,”.

The commandant warned that, “In the interest of those who are interested in joining the corps, they should wait until when advertisement is made in national dailies to that effect.
