Bajoga distributes cheques to victims of Kaduna post-election crisis

Kaduna State deputy governor Ambassador Nuhu Bajoga yesterday distributed cheques to about 1,714 victims of post-election crises in Kafachan town of Jema’a local government area.
Bajoga described the post-election crisis as unfortunate and appealed to the beneficiaries to use the money judiciously and go back and build their houses.
“The affected people from Jaba local government area have no cause to leave their houses because no one was killed during the post election crisis. The state government is ready to maintain the existing peace and order,” he said.
Some of the recipients thanked Kaduna state government for the gesture. More than N267 million was shared among 1,714 owners of houses, 96 mosques and churches 11 affected in the crisis.
