Rainstorm causes havoc in Obasanjo estate

Heavy downpour yesterday caused serious havoc at Obasanjo Estate in Ikere Ekiti in Ekiti State as some buildings were destroyed.
It was also gathered that the rain which started around 5pm on Monday blew off some parts of roofs of the buildings in the estate. A number of electric poles and some trees were uprooted by the rainstorm, it was learnt.
Shasha market, which is directly opposite to the estate, was not spared as some stalls and buildings were destroyed.
