Wife of the former Sultan of Sokoto, Ibrahim Dasuki, Hajia Gwaggo Jabbo Dasuki is dead.She was aged 75.
The news of her death was disclosed to Daily Trust by a close family source by text around 12 mid night on Sunday in Kaduna.
The source said Hajiya Jabbo died of an undisclosed illness in Abuja and her corpse had been brought back to the family at their Miyyeti Allah Residence, Ungwan Rimi, Kaduna .
"She is survived by her husband, the former Sultan and three children, among whom are Hajia Mamie wife of Yariman Zazzau, Major Haruna Dasuki and Aliyu A Dasuki.
"She will be buried today (Monday) in Kaduna after the prayer at Yahaya road Jumma'at mosque by 10am according to Islamic rites," the source said.
