The Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP) will today hold the investiture ceremony for its 20th National President, Tpl. Steve Ifeanyichukwu Onu, at the Shehu Yar’adua Centre in Abuja.  Onu was elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Institute in Abuja on November 10, 2012. The programme will be held under the chairmanship of Dr. Musa Babayo, Talban Katagum, who is the current Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Fund. The guest speaker during the occasion will be Chief Mike Ikenna Ahamba (SAN).  During the programme, the National Executive Committee of the institute will also be inaugurated. Members of the committee, apart from the president include Tpl. Amos F. Olomola as 1st National Vice President and Tpl. Luka B. Achi as 2nd National Vice President. According to a statement from Tpl. Jibrin Garba, who is the new spokesman for NITP, 16 other members would also be installed.
