The Federal government has adopted the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Acceleration Framework (MAF) to fast track the implementation of the goals  ahead of the  2015 deadline. Speaking yesterday in Abuja at the stakeholders briefing on the application of the MDGs acceleration framework, Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo said it was imperative to “identify and prioritize bottlenecks to progress on MDGs targets that are off-track in order to suggest acceleration solutions to these bottlenecks.”
