Mohammed described Fadipe’s action as barbaric, inhuman and a classical example of the gross misuse of power and abuse of office. He said Fadipe must not be allowed to go unpunished for his action in leading the assault on Otunba Komolafe, after he protested against the move by the cocky council chair to jump the queue at a filling station in the city on 15 Nov. 2009.
AC said: “This uncultured and obviously poorly-bred council chairman must be arrested immediately and be made to face the full wrath of the law, to serve as a deterrent and also to let those who might want to follow his footsteps know that no one is above the law.
“It is sad that leaders like Fadipe are the types being bred by the PDP. But we are not surprised. After all, nothing good can come out of a party that has made a name for itself as a nest of killers and the provider of a tattered umbrella under which all sorts of low-lives take refuge, the party added.
