Customs sensitises stakeholders on doing business in Abuja airport

The Federal Capital Territory Customs Area Command has sensitised stakeholder to make Abuja International Airport user friendly and also encourage trade facilitation.
Speaking yesterday at the area command office in Abuja, the Customs Area Controller  Haruna Mohammed said they have make many changes in the area by modernising their departments and also simplify clearance procedure to make sure people brings in their goods by air.
“Why are people afraid to come here? Is it because it is the seat of power? Anyone into good business should not be afraid of using the airport,” he said.
Haruna said there is the need to make the airport busy in terms of business activities, adding that what makes an airport international is the level of business activity going on there.
