NIPC inaugurates ‘invest in Nigeria’ club in schools

The Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) has inaugurated the “invest in Nigeria” club for schools in the Federal Capital Territory to develop the entrepreneurial culture and spirit of self sufficiency in the children.
Speaking during the inauguration in Abuja, the Executive Secretary Engineer Mustafa Bello said the objectives of the club is to build and sustain a culture of wealth creation by careful identification and development of Nigeria’s natural and human resources targeted at youths.
“The essence of the club is to make students know that they are indeed leaders of tomorrow and some of them who are likely to leave the country for higher education will become ambassadors of this country,” he said. He said that the club will focus on entrepreneurship development which is targeted at redirecting, harnessing and repositioning the youths for greatness through the inculcation of skills and arousing the creative spirit in their young minds.
He said that the delivery would be anchored on carefully developed capacity building workshops and special presentations which are capable of making the students have a better understanding of their potentials and ways of realizing the potentials by capitalizing on the opportunities available in Nigeria.
