Depot operators risk licence suspension over renewal DPR

The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has threatened to suspend the operations of depot owners who fail to renew their licences by March.
Director of the agency, Osten Olorunshola, who disclosed this in Lagos, said the development was informed by the need to instil sanity into the oil industry in line with the mandate of the DPR.
He said the application for the renewal must be backed with storage and sales licence application form, statutory fee, current tax clearance certificate, expired petroleum product storage/sales depot licence and environmental management review report.
He advised depot operators to submit their applications promptly in order to facilitate early issuance of licences.
