A leader of the National Action Council (NAC), Dr Olapade Agoro, yesterday in Ibadan emerged as the presidential candidate of the party for the 2019 elections.
The NAC’s presidential candidate in his acceptance speech at the national convention of the party held at Rasco Hall, Challenge, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, decried the level of corruption in the country. Agoro, who was also returned as National Chairman of NAC for another four years at the convention monitored by an official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), said “Nigeria is in need of a leader that will give us pride as a nation”.
He promised to nurture and prepare the political party for the task of taking Nigeria to the Promised Land.
