A stalwart of the APC in Plateau State, Umar Dauda, has said the party remains unbeatable in the state regardless of the recent defections from the APC to other political parties, particularly the PDP.
Dauda, who is aspiring to contest the House of Representatives seat of Bassa/Jos-North Federal Constituency in 2019, spoke in his campaign office in Jos, the state capital, when the APC Mouth Mobilisation paid him a solidarity visit to thank him for donating two vehicles and other items worth about N10m to the state party secretariat.
He described those who claimed the party would lose the elections as noise makers and that the defectors who were not originally APC members came to use the party platform to win elections.
Umar, who was represented by his Campaign Coordinator, Jerry Adankala, also expressed confidence in the youths of the state, saying they were the grassroots pillars that could work for the success of the party in 2019.
Earlier, the leader of the group, Ambassador Alkalah Ela, expressed appreciation over the items donated to the party, assuring him that the youths in the constituency would work for his electoral victory come 2019.
